Can iron deficiency can result in dark circles under eyes?

Maybe: If you are severely anemic, you might be pale, in which case places where the skin is wrinkled would look darker. But other than that, i can't see a direct relationship between iron deficiency and dark circles under the eyes. (have you lost a lot of weight? Are you getting enough sleep? Has your thyroid been checked? There are several things that might make you have dark circles).

May be: Dark circles under eyes do not have clear etiology and may be partly hereditary. Use of sun screen may help. If you have iron deficiency, it should be treated anyway. You may take over the counter iron supplements and consult your doctor at the next visit.
