TICK BITE: If you have a tick bite, it is very important to remove the tick as quickly as possible. If it's very itchy and painful wash the area with soap and warm water. See a doctor as quickly as possible. Depending on the kind of tick, it could be quite serious. Some ticks cause lyme disease; other can cause a serious malady called rocky mountain spotted fever.
