Check with your dr: If you have the tick bring to your physician. Depending on where you live, treatment recommendations may or may not include antibiotics prophylactically. If you do not live in an area where lyme's disease is a common the recommendation may be to observe by your physician.

Depends : This depends of the nature of the bite and the possible tick-borne illness that may have been transmitted. For most tick illnesses, Doxycycline is the standard but for kids, with lyme disease, Amoxicillin is used.
