A Cause of Tinnitus: Alcohol among other things like caffeine can cause increase in tinnitus symptoms. If this is happening then decrease or stop alcohol intake and take vitamins and if persists see ENT to have heaing and ears evaluated. Also Aspirin and advil/ Aleve can also cause tinnitus so use tylenol (acetaminophen) instead.
