Body symmetry: Our body symmetry is often very close but not exact. There are often different sizes & other characteristics of each ear, each hand, each eye, etc. Even when mom never used any substances/alcohol in pregnancy. Not sure how big a size difference we are talking about. While it is not impossible that use of substances/alcohol played a role, it may be harmful to dwell on or assume that mom caused it.
