Specialist: You need to be assessed for degenerative disc disease, hip pathology, and maybe sacroiliac dysfunction. If you haven't done so, seek out a spine specialist. If you have, get additional opinions.

Try other approaches: It sounds like you have been doing everything right & it is frustrating that you still have so much pain. Seek more opinions from those who specialize in back pain- perhaps a physiatrist (doctor specializing in physical medicine), an osteopath who specializes in manipulation, try acupuncture & homeopathy, possibly prolozone, work on stress reduction. Disc/SI issues: You need to be seen by a specialist, and at least be evaluated for a possible need for surgery. The symptoms described can be due to degenerative disc pathology or a sacroiliac issue. It can also be due to hip issues. A thorough musculoskeletal exam is a must.
