Inprobable: Hight titers of anti rnp antibodies are the trade mark of mctd however it is possible to be in early phase of transformation from a lupus background were other anas are still dominant. The clinical picture would take precedent with overlapping signs such as raynaulds, myositis and other signs of scleroderma. None of these tests are diagnsotic in the absence of clinical illness.
