Infection: Caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis, mainly affecting the lungs although it can harm any part of the body.Only TB of lungs & throat can be infectious.Usual symptoms are generalized tiredness, weight loss, fever & night sweats.If the infection in the lung worsen, further symptoms include chest pain, coughing up blood & shortness of breath.Treated w combination meds for 6 months.It is infectious.
