Work.: The liver is a truly amazing organ.That we can abuse it with all the bad things we do and it keeps chugging along is remarkable.A healthy liver can handle the high fat&protein atkins diet is proof.But what happens after you quit the diet? Most of my patients have gained all plus some after the diet.Best "diet" for weight loss is weight watchers, followed by continued calorie restriction& exercise!
