Possibly.: Ld can make day-to-day life much more difficult for children and teens, making worry that they are "stupid" or "defective, " and possibly making the a target for peers. Lowered self-esteem and even depression can result, especially if the pressure to perform exceeds the ability to do so.

Yes a learning : Disability can lead to depression in a teenager. Usually people with learning disabilities have above average iq but feel bad about themselves because they have trouble succeeding in school. Untreated it can lead to depression.
