Followup: First followup med. Check is to monitor progress on the med. & to inquire about tolerability, side effects and benefits as far as presenting symptoms prior to starting the meds.

Typically you will : Be seen more often at first, maybe even weekly, untill the right medications are found and you are feeling better. Then routinely you will be seen less often as you continue to recover, unless you are also in therapy with your psychiatrist.
