Rx should be by Dx: The provider who made those diagnoses should be the one who prescribes or refers you to one who can. This is not your responsibility. You are correct in wanting to know as much as you can about what they prescribe - but 1st let them make the recommendation(s). I recommend psychotherapy to go w/ whatever it is. You can learn how to manage these things to be an asset to your team.

Ask your Dr : Based on your medical history and family history, they can recommend different things. Any medicines that worked for you or family in the past should be reported. Exercise and meditation and hobbies should be used to lower stress and increase relaxation.

Best meds: There are several classes of medications that can be used alone or in combination. Typically these are SSR-I's, anxiolitics like benzodiazopines, and anti-psychotics. Many medications are used across disorders. For instance an anti-depressant may be used to treat social anxiety or obsessional illness. Be careful and be sure you are informed when taking any of these meds as all have side effects.
