Absoulutely: Consult your medical doctor, be open and explain your anxiety symptoms. Your md should have knowledge of mental health professionals who can treat your anxiety, if your md feels medication is needed request a referral to a psychiatrist who can prescribe and do therapy. If your md feels you do not need medication, there are many highly skilled mental health professionals who can help.
