A member asked:

When i drink slushes ir icees, the ice sticks in my throat and freezes there, and hurts really bad... also pills and food stick in the same place... what can cause that?

U may have a"pocket": Deep crevices/pockets in the back/sides of your throat can "hold" the food/pills/liquid that consume. Some people have a defect called zenker's diverticulum and this may collect food which remains there undigested and can cause significant odor after awhile. If "ice-slush" gets there, it is cold/freezing and causes pain. Cosult doc for an evaluation. Good luck.
