?TMJ: you may have temporo-mandibular joint disease. Does it hurt when try to fully open your mouth? do you feel a click sound when you do that? Also ear/nose/throat pathologies have to be ruled out. Consider a dental referral if the above symptoms are present. If not or in addition you may see an ENT doctor.
