All doctors: All physicians deal with emotional problems, since emotional problems affect all body systems. I have had many conversations with dermatologists, family medicine, surgeons, internists and everyone is in agreement that it is always necessary to treat the whole patient. Of course, psychiatrists and psychologists receive the most training to treat emotional problems, but all doctors are involved.
