Decay: Research has shown that periodontal disease is transmissible from saliva transfer. We are lucky our bodies defenses to bacteria can fight this invasion when we are healthy. In some it can not. Tooth decay can spread to another if in direct contact with the tooth, ex. In between teeth from not flossing.
