Indirectly: Having any life changing event can lead to depression. A "brain hemorrhage" can certainly lead to feelings of loss of control and recognition of one's mortality and may also cause life style changes if there is a neurological deficit. All these things can lead to a depressive state as one tries to cope with this sudden onslaught of feelings and changes.
