Helping pts breathe: Respiratory therapists work with doctors and nurses helping to take care of patients of all ages who have trouble breathing. They help with asthma, copd, and respiratory failure. They give breathing treatments and adjust ventilator settings. This profession requires special training and certification. We couldn't manage without our wonderful respiratory therapists!
