A member asked:

What does it mean if ggt was 80 on my liver function test; normal between 10 & 42?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Gaston Moran Celayes answered

Drinking?: Drinking alcohol makes you GGT going up. It's good for monitoring patients that are trying to stop drinking, but it can be elevated in other conditions too.

Dr Larson agreed
