If you've been diagnosed with epstein barr virus by your doctor, what symptoms can you expect?

Mono, fatigue: Usually gets better on its own, but not until days or weeks of swollen glands, severe fatigue, muscle aches and fevers. Epstein barr virus infection is one form of "mononucleosis" or "mono". (cmv is the other cause). Sometimes there is a rash. Most people feel fatigue.

Probably none: Almost all humans get EBV when young, usually with no symptoms, but sometimes infectious mononucleosis (mono), also called glandular fever. Most infections never cause mono or or other symptoms, but almost all humans have positive test results for life -- usually meaningless, i.e. no symptoms or health problem. However, special tests can detect reactivated infection. Discuss with your doctor.
