Try cold compresses,: The redness in your face after extractions is due to inflammation which is part of the healing process. You can temporarily decrease inflammation with anti inflamatory drugs like Motrin or advil (ibuprofen). Also, cold compresses can lessen inflammation by constricting the surface blood vessels on your face.
