A member asked:

What's the procedure for a cortisone injection into the hip joint?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needle: A needle is placed in the hip joint and steroid is injected. This is often times done under xray (fluoroscopy) or ultrasound. The procedure only takes a few minutes, and is not very uncomfortable.
