Nope : The best treatment for adult adhd is stimulant medication. Alternative medications are a waste of valuable time and are ineffective. See a competent doctor who is conversant with adult adhd for help and treatment.

I wish there were: As of now, we do not have a "cure" for add. But medication (stimulants, usually) and behavior retraining, are very effective. Even so, stimulants work for a limited number of hours, only temporarily taking away the symptoms. When they stop working, the brain reverts to add. Despite many myths, there is no evidence that various diets, herbal supplements or other type of intervention, wil help.
