Does eye donation work the same way as other organ donation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Only the cornea can be transplanted. The rest of the structures of the eye can either be replaced ( the lens(cataract) can be replaced with an intraocular lens) or is part of the brain and cnnot be replaced b.
