Can variant cjd through blood be transmitted through a cut on the finger?

Very, very unlikey: Variant cjd has been transmitted by transfusion but this is very rare. If you both cut your fingers and mixed blood, you can transmit hepatitis b, possibly c, but probably not cjd.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
