Tofranil/Imipramine: Tofranil (imipramine) is an older tricyclic antidepressant which still has helpful uses. Side effects may include drowsiness, confusion (especially in elderly people), dry mouth, dry eyes, constipation, urinary retention, excessive sweating, and tachycardia.
