Tofranil (imipramine): Tofranil (imipramine) is a tricyclic antidepressant. It has both antidepressant and antianxiety activity -- but is not as known for its effects in ocd as another tricyclic, anafranil. I see that you're already on Anafranil though, so please discuss your options with your psychiatrist if not satisfied with the results you're now getting. Best wishes.

Tofranil (imipramine): It is the original anti depressant medicine. It is used for depression, anxiety, bed wetting etc.
