Few causes: A systemic disease like diabetes. Side effects of certain medications or chemotherapy treatments.. One can have carpal tunnel in the hands and tarsal tunnel in the feet. There can be herniated discs in the spine irritating the nerves to the distal extremites. This is a condition that warrants a doctor's visit.
