can stress cause prolonged numbness in just parts of the hands and feet, and not involve the whole hand/feet?

Stress & Anxiety: Stress and anxiety can cause a wealth of odd physical symptoms, including numbness and tingling of the extremities. Usually this waxes and wanes, though, and isn't prolonged. Please consider seeing your physician about this problem.
