Lots: Of hydration and stretching... A regular routine will help as well. Meaning the more regular the exercise, over time, the less sore your muscles will be post exercise. The kind of exercise is also important in terms of prevention...High intensity exercise is more likely to produce Lactic Acid build up and soreness..Icing muscles or joints post exercise can help as we as an anti inflammatory.
