PT: I would recommend getting involved with a physical therapist, they can give you exercises to help maintain a strong core and low back muscles. This may help you. And if your symptoms are severe than i would recommend see an orthopedic spinal specialist.

Stretch before bed: Sometimes. Simple stretches prior to going to sleep help. Also check to see if your mattress is ok. Sometimes, a couple of advil (ibuprofen) with a snack before bed as well can help as long as there are no reasons why you cannot use that type of medication.
