Only short term: Acute sleep deprivation has its hazards, including decreased reaction times, attention, daytime sleepiness. In fact, even though you may not notice a big difference, micro-sleeps may overlap into you wakefullness. Caffeine only temporarily improves this, but loses its effect. Try and get at least 7 hours a night and shoot for 8 hours.
