For the past week i have been really nauseous but i don't throw up. starting today, i have had an awful copper taste in my mouth. what could this be?

Sourbrash: Sounds like a good case of gerd (gastroesophageal reflux) with sourbrash (the copper taste you describe), perhaps exacerbated by delayed stomach emptying (the nausea). I recommend stopping tobacco, alcohol, any non-prescribed nsaid's (aleve, advil, (ibuprofen) motrin), starting over-the-counter Prilosec daily before breakfast, & certainly pursuing formal evaluation particularly if symptoms persist or worsen.

Many causes: metalic taste can be caused by medication side effects , anemia, defective metal filling in a tooth, dehydration and many more. Check with your Doctor on these or other possibilities.
