Acute Gastritis?: GERD can cause nausea, Heartburn . Rx Pepcid (famotidine) or Omeprazole like drug . If these symptoms are new and happening after you eat certain type of food; you should avoid them and take the GERD medicine regularly. If you smoke, or has any risk factor for heart disease ( like FHx of Heart attack, High BP, High Cholesterol) then "Gas pain, Nausea" should not be taken lightly.Get examined.
