Betablockers: I assume your tests ruled out an abdominal aortic aneurysm? This symptom usually occurs in very thin people - is that you? Consider changing your mattress to one that damps the impulse - try them out in the store. Ask your doctor about prescribing a beta blocker - it won't make it go away but it will help.

Biofeedback: If vascular tests are all normal, maybe it's not really a pulse, but a recurrent muscle spasm. Work with a physiatrist who can set you up with surface muscle recording devices, to see if your symptom actually correlates with a spasm of an abdominal wall muscle rather than a vascular pulse in the abdomen. Some muscle spasms can be rhythmic enough to mimic a pulse.
