Colon? kidney? gyne?: Diverticulitis commonly causes sharp left lower abdominal pain, inflammatory colitises can cause symptoms. Obstruction. Constipation. Kidney issues. Herniae? Ovarian cysts? You should see a doctor if it has lasted longer than a few days or if it is severe and limiting your daily activities.. There are other causes as well and you may require a ct scan or colonoscopy to help sort them out.
