Depends on…: Your weight/bmi & physical conditioning & status of hip, knee, & ankle joints. Walking has less forceful impact on those joints, especially if overweight. If bmi is 18-25 & no history of hip/knee/ankle injury, try jogging.

Not necessarily.: Over the course of your life, you will likely find that walking is the best! you can get your heartrate up into the aerobic range with walking or running. Plus, walking puts less impact on joints that may later need repair, i.e., knees and hips.
