How would i know if my toe is broken?

X-ray: An x-ray will tell you how severe the break is or if there is one.

X-ray: If there is pain to the toe that lasts for more than 2 days and is swollen or is out of position, then you would need to see your podiatrist.

X-ray: An xray is the only way to know for sure. The smaller toes are usually buddy taped to a neighbor when they are fractured and not displaced. The big toe sometime requires more treatment than that. It will take about 6 weeks for it to heal if it is broken.

X-rays: If your toe is not in proper alignment, it is likely broken. Only an x-ray can confirm if it is broken and what the necessary treatment would be.
