Iron: There is no direct effect. Milk in tea (if used) does have a potential to decrease iron absorption from stomach.

Basically no: There are some acids in tea that will bind iron in your gut and make it harder to absorb. Nobody's going to get iron-deficient just from that. Look for some other cause.
