Not cause for increm: Anxiety and stress usually increase the heart rate. When anxiety is out of control it can produce panic attacks which is characterized by palpitations (the feeling of the heart pounding fast on your chest). If you workout every day your basal heart rate (the one in the morning when you wake up ) will be low.
