Hard to say.: One possible cause of an ear ache (otalgia) when you run is that air is flowing across your ear. If the outside temperature is cold, this may stimulate muscle spasm of the muscles that close the jaw. This spasm may produce pain at the side of your face (ear ache). Try putting cotton baton in your ear canals when you run and if that does not work consult your physician.
