Call a dentist: Are you seeing a dentist? Are you currently on antibiotic? See your dentist for proper treatment...Never "pop" an oral abcess on your own, it can spread the infection faster.

See a dentist: It is better to get the problem resolved which may include incision and drainage of the abcess or just antibiotics. The faster you get rid of the infection the less the pain and quicker relief.
