Depends: I am not sure if the procedure was a foot surgery or a back surgery. If i assume it was a foot surgery, then it would depend on the type of anesthesia used. Some local anesthetics could last 5-8 hours...If there is a bandage on the foot, i would make sure it is not to tight. Also, if you have any concern at all, simply call your surgeon. Don;t be afraid - you are not bothering them.

See below: If you had a regional block to assist with the surgery or post-operative pain then yes you foot should still feel numb. If you did not have one of these blocks then there should not be any numbness in your foot due to the anesthesia. Talk to surgeon with your concerns.
