Genl recommendations: Not every one is salt sensitive re: blood pressure. General recommendation <4gm salt /2500mg sodium/tsp salt from all sources. Hard to escape it in baked goods, almost all processed foods. If an issue for you, don't add salt before, during or after cooking. Doesn't mean bland, or not spicy; just not salty. Where salt goes, water goes-fluid retention can follow.
