SHORT TERM IT MIGHT: Long term not recommended. Severely restricting diets fail because at some point in time you have to eat again. Try this 1-write down everything you eat. 2-exercise 30 minutes daily 3- eat frequently, every 2-3 hrs a combo of 15-20 gms of complex carb with protein and fiber, small amount of good fats. 4- drink water as often as possible between and with meals. 5- do a liquid fast one day a month.

Diets: Fad diets are marketing ploys to promote a concept that has more to do with making money than with a well-balanced diet that promotes long-term compliance conducive with a healthy lifestyle. Many of these diets are also low calorie diets. A low calorie diet is a diet that provides extremely low calories in order to produce significant weight loss. They can be unbalanced and cause problems.

NO to fad diet: I have to say no to fad diets. They are not healthy. The best way to lose weight is a well balanced diet without any restriction to food groups. Portion control and healthy choices are the best way to lose weight.
