What determines when i take naproxen for joints?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain: Usually it is used when one is experiencing pain. I tends to work best when taken twice daily in order to maintain a blood level of the medication. This is best maintained if taken on a daily basis. I usually recommend that my patients use it for 4 weeks then go off it and see how they feel. Long term use is to be avoided because of adverse side effects such as elevated blood pressure and and hear.
