How did i know i have allergy to wheat or gluten?

Food challenge: There are many tests that can be done to help determine if you are at risk for an allergy to wheat or gluten, but ultimately, a food challenge is the only definitive test. This should not be done on your own, but with the guidance of physican or allergist.

Wheat/Gluten Allergy: You see an allergist and ask for specific skin or blood testing to determine if you carry the allergic antibody to either of these. Whether you have a reaction to them is a different story. Testing is the first step...As is a good history.

Allergy testing: See an allergist for testing. Celiac disease is commonly diagnosed with blood work or at times endoscopy.
