Can i breastfeed if i am taking hydrocodone?

NO: Almost all narcotics are passed through the mother's milk to her breastfeeding infant which will cause drowsiness or worse to the infant. Do not breast feed if you have taken hydrocodone within 4 hours of the feeding, and preferably not at all.
