Globus: This is called a globus sensation. Globus hystericus is the kind which is associated with anxiety. Globus can also be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux(lpr). Acid regurgitated into the throat causes an inflammatory sensation of something stuck, or a fullness in the throat. Consider your diet and observe reflux prcautions. Medication can also help with lpr.

Hi. I am young. And have anxiety. I sometimes, especially when sitting or lying, get a few pulsing feeling in my throat. Any reassurance would be good?

Anxiety disorders: are best treated by a mental health professional, not only medication. See your doc to rule out medical conditions and then remember that the pulsing is about your heart pumping, something we all do and need. See a book called "Hope and Help for your Nerves" by Claire Weekes. Peace and good health.

Probably irritation: These symptoms appear when your throat is irritated. Multiple things can irritate or inflame the back of your throat like gastric reflux, smoking, swollen tonsils, etc... Write down your symptoms and what you were doing when you symptoms appeared, and try and narrow down what is triggering the irritation. If the pain gets unbearable, you might consult an ENT, however, these are common symptoms.
